Who are we?
We are Schibsted & Vend Polska — a joint venture between Schibsted and Vend. From our offices in Kraków and Gdańsk, we build technology for leading media houses and marketplaces across the Nordics. Our solutions support newsrooms every day, streamline publishing, and help people sell, and buy.
We work in small, cross-functional teams where product, design, and engineering collaborate closely and take full ownership of outcomes. Decisions are made where the problems arise, always with measurable impact on users in mind. We embrace a culture of continuous learning, experimenting, measuring, and adapting, while openly sharing knowledge through Tech Talks, workshops, and our blog.
At Schibsted & Vend Polska we design and develop products that power both leading media houses and online marketplaces across the Nordics. For media, we build newsroom tools, publishing and personalization systems, video and audio infrastructure including podcasts, subscription and payment modules, and advanced advertising technology — from ad servers and SSP/DSP integrations to targeting. These solutions help journalists publish faster while enabling publishers to monetize their content more effectively in a user-friendly way. For marketplaces, we create search and ranking engines, classifieds systems, payment solutions, and customer-facing features that ensure speed, relevance, safety, and smooth transactions from browsing to purchase.
